I’ve sort of had a fascination with the gym bag since childhood. I used to own a cool barrel shaped gym bag when I was a little freckle faced girl. I used it for ballet class. I loved toting that thing around with me. So cute and stylish in a preppy way.
Feeling nostalgic, I give you the Billy purse. I hope you like it. Perhaps you may open it up and remember how it looked to find your peachy ballet slippers waiting inside for you.

Look. I haven’t gone overboard or anything. I didn’t arrange all of my books in a rainbow. I’m not sure I could do this, anyway. However, it’s lovely in this picture. And, feeling inspired, I did arrange a little section in a pretty rainbow. It makes me really happy to see it everyday.

Have a good weekend. I’ll be back next week with lovely new products in the shop!
I am already a big fan of Nice Package. How could you not like them? Such pretty things. Such clean lines. Such thoughtfulness. It seemed perfect when I looked at their site this morning and found this lovely Paris DIY inspiration kit. I love Paris and I’ve been thinking a lot about it lately. Perhaps I did leave my heart there, after all?

I have a yellow purse. I bought it years ago from Marimeko. I love that purse, but it’s gotten a bit aged and faded. I miss its former glory. I thought you might like a yellow purse too. So I made you one. I hope you like it. I hand-embroidered a cute circle on it and lined it with sweet silvery polka dots.

Are you feeling lovey? Recently engaged? I thought I might take this moment to tell you that my talented husband is giving away a free engagement photo session. Please check it out!

It’s the weekend and I couldn’t be happier. There is something about the week after you return from vacation that is so very different from other weeks. You feel foggy and trapped between two places. Mostly, however, I miss my sweetie!
The weekend is here. Thankfully. And, this weekend, I dream of pretty linen things. Wants. Needs. Wants.

Linen studs. I’m all about studs this year. Wearing them encourages me to wear my hair back, which, in turn, reminds me that I have a freckle face to show.

Pretty in pink. Linen house slippers. I must have some.

The Audrey purse in creamy linen. Just one left!

Linen sachets so your house smells lovely.

You know you’ve lived in Seattle for too long when you look outside and realize you’ve lost the ability to tell whether it’s raining or not. It looks the same no matter what. And, really, who cares? It doesn’t change the way you’re going to dress anyway. The good thing is that you never look silly carrying an umbrella. It’s a great accessory for any day of the week around here.
In fact, I’m off to buy one today. Which do you like better?

You can buy them here.

I’m in the market for a new shower curtain. A white curtain seems so boring now. Besides, a friend shamed me into painting my bathroom. And, the itsy bitsy paint job has blossomed into a whole renovation project beyond my wildest imagination.

Back to earth. This one is pretty and so creative! DIY all the way.
Seattle welcomed me back into its wet and dreary arms. I’m happy to be home again, however. I’m relaxed and ready to rumble. We’re open for business as usual.
